GeoChat Academic Partnership Program
What is the GeoChat Academic Partnership Program?
What contributors receive
The GeoChat Academic Partnership Program allows students and GIS practitioners to host population health and public health maps and datasets on GeoChat at no cost. Frontline public health teams can then discover and use this work in real world decision making, also at no cost.
This program is designed to make academic GIS usable, visible, and impactful beyond the classroom or journal.
High quality GIS work is being produced across universities every semester.
Most of it never reaches the people making policy and operational decisions.
GeoChat bridges that gap by pairing academic GIS with AI guided workflows that make it understandable and actionable for non experts.
Free hosting of approved maps and datasets
Free access to use the GeoChat platform
Clear attribution and visibility for your work
Real world use of GIS beyond academic settings
